Overview
Mount Kenya is Kenya’s highest mountain and Africa’s second highest after Kilimanjaro. A mountain of three peaks, Point Lenana is the highest accessible to trekkers at 4,985 metres. This trek affords fantastic views and stunning scenery, including waterfalls, glaciers and rock pinnacles, on a variety of routes. Mount Kenya is situated about 200 km northeast of the capital, Nairobi.
We offer two trek options, including the shortest way to the peak – the Naro Moru route – and the longer combination of the Sirimon and Chogoria routes, ascending and descending on different sides of the mountain. Please speak to us if you are interested in any other variation and we will do our best to assist with your request.
We have a long history of running treks and tours in Kenya and employ local guides and porters with a wealth of knowledge on the mountain to lead the treks. Pre and post-trek accommodation is arranged at a permanent tented eco-camp in the beautiful suburb of Naromoru or Nanyuki.
